Don’t expect that people work for free for you. I usually help for free if clients have a problem with very popular plugins, I can’t check all plugin because there is 1000s plugins.

On themeforest you can’t get refund if theme doesn’t work with some plugin. I think you should test this plugin with a default wp theme first.

I updated this tutorial today.So maybe try to upload Cinematix/groups/groups-loop.php file only. You can also try to upload fresh theme but with changed name of forder like cinematix-new and test it.

Theme uses special version of ajax search with unique style so update won’t work.
