It looks like you are talking about customisation, not administration. Admin panel with 5000 options or WYSIWYG editor is not required by Themeforest. Only 1 thing requires open frontpage3.php and replace few words – http://support.diaboliquedesign.com/forums/topic/frontpage-3-contents/
BTW. Keep in mind theme contains 400 files so it’s not so basic.
